Making mistakes and overlooking things is a normal part of learning when you are just beginning with scuba diving. A really good idea is to pair up with someone who is much more experienced. This will not only make your adventures underwater safer, but also you will learn little tricks that are helpful to know. Checking things at the right time is a good habit to get into. When you are on the boat heading for a dive point, it is too late to check to see if you have everything you need. Have a list of what you need at the dive shop, and don’t leave until you have everything that is on your list. Being a beginner, you will probably be renting equipment, so when you do, make sure that it fits.

The best description that fits a whale shark is a mouthful of teeth and constantly hungry stomach. Yes, it may seem morbidly appropriate yet it is not the truth. The fact is that, compared to other shark species, the whale sharks are far different.
